Violet Nessbitt Mrs. Nessbitt was born at Carlton Place in 1897. When she graduated from school she became a secretary for an industrial firm. She married Harry Nesbitt in 1918 and came to reside in Schreiber where her husband was employed by the CPR, She was active in church and other groups.When the Women's Institute was formed in Schreiber in 1927,she joined the organization and was the treasurer for several years. She was active in the community and the W. I. organization helping the needy and preparing boxes for the soldiers in the second world war.
