Fault of Liberal Government Lies in Leader Says Fisher Doug Fisher returned to the Lakehead Saturday and addressed a large crowd of mainly NDP supporters at the Labour Center. Mr. Fisher, former CCF member of parliament for Port Arthur is now a columnist and university lecturer. The government has only had about a 50-50 success rate in fighting inflation, according to Mr. Fisher, despite the fact Trudeau has surrounded himself with so much talent. Speaking of a possible election, Mr. Fisher said, he believes Trudeau is having problems raising campaign funds because he has failed to keep the Liberal party an ongoing continuous force.
