The only satisfaction is that one feels good that the students get good training. To our knowledge we have never had a failure. Russ Phair HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY HONOURS MR. R. M. WARNER At the Annual Pot Luck Supper in the Anglican Church Hall Mr. R. M. Warner was honoured. The presentation was made by Mrs. Ola Atkinson and in his acceptance speech Mr. Warner recalled the early days of the Society as he was one of the original members. The meetings were held on the second floor of his store. Mr. Thoms, Morrisburg District Director, brought greetings and encouragement to continue on with Horticultural work to beautify the surroundings. Miss Kim Eadie, 1975 Horticultural Queen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Eadie,assisted Mr. Pommeville, Assistant Agriculture Rep., in presenting the Trillium awards. These awards are judged from the street, whose garden at their address to be outstanding in design and upkeep throughout the spring, summer and autumn seasons. The winners were, Mr. and Mr. E. Burton, Mr. and Mrs. Cuthbert Smith, Mr. and Mrs. R. Storring, Mr. and Mrs. Casey Geerts, Mr. and Mrs. J. Morrice, Dr. F. A. Kinnaird, Mr. and Mrs. J. Twiname. Mr. Gregoire of Gregoire Motors, Embrun, presented a silver tray to Mrs. Carman James for her outstanding exhibits at the Horticultural Show in August.
