Vian RUSSELL BANTAMS WIN RUSSELL-CARLETON PLAY-OFFS. The Russell Bantams, who finished first during League play, recently finished the season with a fine effort at Greely which earned them the League Sostbakl championship and the Dr. Frank Kinnaird trophy. They Lost their first game of the pay-0444 but then came back to win five straight, the final over Kenmore 5-0 to capture the trophy. The Bantams also entered the Parkwood Hills tournament and did extremely well, winning their first game and then Losing out to a strong team from Napanee who eventually won the tournament championship.
