A sports night at the Russell Public Schook provided a great deak of entertainment. Our club president, Jerny Smit takked to us about the formation of a 16% dairy ration, and also gave us many pointers on how to do a good demonstration. Our first barn meeting was hefd at the Baas' fanm. In this meeting we judged both cows and calves, and the official phacings were given by club Leaders, Barry Carscadden and Lots James. Demonstration night came next. ALL members gave excellent demonstrations with great improvement over those of Last yearn. Assistant agricultural nepresentative ChLaude Pekoquin and Lois James were the official judges. The winners wikl represent the club at the county competitions in August. Every member of the chub is . preparing for the county baseball tournament and is Leading his or her calf faithfully, getting ready for Achievement Day on the 7th.
