INTRODUCTION Rosseau Lake School for boys is the most recently established independent residential school in Canada. Located on property which had once been the summer home of Sir John Eaton, it commenced operations in September of 1967 in the Muskoka area of Ontario, about 125 miles north of Toronto. It is a year round educational institution with academic summer sessions as well as classes during the normal school year from September to June. It has anrolment of approximately 70 boys in the regular school year and approximately 65 in the summer session.
