This is a top class tournament and many of the top teams of the area will be participating. The tournament will be divided into intermediate and' senior divisions. An added attraction will be the California Cuties who will put on an exhibition against a Russell team on Friday the 18th. The weatherman has forecast good weather for the weekend so good luck, fellows, and may it be the best tournament ever: kkk Kk kk KE There is no reason to make either books or education easy, any more than tennis or football is easy. Like sports, they require a certain amount of hard work and practige, and like sports they can be be both a challenge and a delight. : G. W. His selections varied from Rock to Western. As well as a band leader, Dick also writes music and works as a free lance broadcaster on CKOY. He has appeared throughout Eastern Canada and has been on television with Elwood Glover, Katherine McKinnon and on the Braden Beat. Song writing, says Dick, is second nature to him. He selects subjects from daily life, "Suburbia Merry-Go-Round" being an example. His band is flexible in style and tempo, playing the music of the '20's as well as of the '70's. Young or old, everyone can enjoy Dick Maloney's band.
