Metcalfe Jets provide most of the opposition in Russell's last regular scheduled C.D.M.H.L.Home Game. 8:00 p.m. -- Official opening of Carnival by 1977 Queen, Diane Wouters. Wednesday, February 22 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. -- Figure Skating 7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. -- Minor Hockey Showdown 8:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. -- Raiders vs. Town Oldtimers. Admission for evening Adults, $1.00; Students, 50 cents; Children under 12 free Thursday, February 23 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. -- Mothers vs. Novice No. 2's (grudge match) 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. -- Oldtimer Town Hockey League 8:30 p.m. -- CARNIVAL QUEEN PAGEANT IN R.A. HALL Brian Smyth, C.J.0.H. T.V. as Guest M. C.; Brian Kilrea and Bobby Smith, Ottawa 67's as guest judges. Girls between the ages of 15 - 21 will compete for this year's Carnival Queen and her two princesses. During a variety program of musical numbers the girls will model a variety of fashions. Admission $1.50 -- Door Prizes Friday, February 24 6:00 p.m. -- Start of the Russell Lions International Midget a Hockey Tournament. Teams such as Brockville, Massena, Nepean, Gloucester, Kingston, West Ottawa, Belleville, East Ottawa, and other area teams will compete in a divisional round robin tournament that guarantees each team 3 games and an excellent double chance at the finals. Play continues with 4 games tonight, 10 games on Saturday, and the final 7 games on Sunday. 8:30 p.m. -- Carnival Teen Dance. Music by "'Springwell'"' Tickets available from the Feed Store, Kim Rombough, Linda Wigcheren, Chris Forgues, Juilliet Cousineau and Arena Canteen. Saturday, February 25 7:30 a.m. -- Continuation of Midget Hockey Tournament. Runs until 11:00 p.m. The play resumes on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. -- Children's Party in R.A. Hall. For children up to 12 years of age. Admission free. 3:00 p.m. -- Races on ice - Boys and Girls 8:30 p.m. -- Carnival Adult Dance. Music by "Pandemonium"' Tickets available from any Lion member Sunday, February 26 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. -- Pancake Breakfast in St. Mary's Anglican Church Hall. $1 per person, $5.00 per family. 8:00 a.m. -- Final day of the Lions Midget 'A' Hockey Tourna- ment. The final round, semi-finals and finals are played to see who takes home the gold, silver and bronze medals. 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. -- Semi-finals of Tournament 3:30 p.m. -- Costume Judging on ice 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. -- Baked bean supper at R. C. Church Hall. 5:00 p.m. -- Tournament Final -- 50-50 Draw winner picked.
