Flooring Contractor Ceramics, Carpets Corlon, Free Estimates 584 Notre Dame St. Box 278, Embrun 443-2155 With 78 members of her family present, Mrs. Ida Dugdale cele- brated her 80th birthday in Metcalfe this past October. It would seem that merely keeping track of 12 children, 39 grandchildren and 9 great-grand- children would take 365 days each year, but visitors to Mrs. Dugdale's new home on Church Steet are soon aware of other past-times. Her home is a treasure of quilts, children's clothing, place mats and decor- ations, all beautifully handmade. This is no surprise to friends and Drapes V.I.P.'s in Russell irs. Ida Dugdale Celebrates 80th Birthday family who kid Mrs. Dugdale about her never-ending trips to Fall Fairs and local bazaars. Prizes such as this year's "Best Quilt at the Metcalfe Fair" must make all the work worthwhile. Horticulture is another interest and Mrs. Dugdale is an active Horticultural Society member. I don't know where, but she still finds time for the many activities at the Senior Citizens Drop-in Centre. Happy Birthday Mrs. Dugdale and may you celebrate many more.
