- This original black and white photograph is of a narrow gauge 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotive that was drawing cars of shale from the shale pit to the brickyard in Russell. The man sitting on the back of the engine is Henry Shepard and the short man second from the left is Walter Rubert the engineer.
