Shipping point
Back in 1910 a railroad siding was located beside a large dock on Lake Joseph where cargoes from lake steamers were transferred
for shipment by rail. Probably the reverse was also true. This photograph from the Public Archives of Canada shows a train on the
siding and loads of lumber and other material on the dock. Dave Thornton of Barry's Bay provided a copy of the photograph to the North Star.
