Seguin Township Museum keeps local history alive Step into the past at the Seguin Township Museum or take a stroll around the beautiful grounds. Artificats from the Township's past are nestled in an old log church, which later became Humphrey school house, S.S.7. Located between the villages of Rosseau and Humphrey at the corner of Highway 141 and Clear Lake Road, the museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week, from July to September. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. This year the museum has a new photo exhibit featuring local industries and services of the past that residents and visitors alike depended on. Copies of photos can be purchased along with local historical books. In addition to photographs, there are also old household and farming implements, as well as artifacts from the logging days. The museum has been open since 1975.
