Thanks Gentlement ............. Miss Carlyle, a daughter of the late Wm. Carlyle who came here lately from Toronto, died rather suddenly last week. She was returning home from Dean Lake station and was taken sick on the way going into a neighbour's house from which she had to be carried home, dying the next day of heart trouble. The funeral was held on Sunday last and was attended by a large number of the neighbours, the body was conveyed to the cemetery by the hearse from Thessalon and the funeral ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Mclnnis.......... Miss Emma Gardiner has returned home from a visit to Blind River ..........Miss Jennie Boville presided very acceptably at the organ in the Methodist church on Sunday evening. .............Dave Tait is away to Manitoulin Island selling fruit trees for his nurseries. Anyone coming to Iron Bridge would be well repaid and perhaps surprised on a visit to the nurer-ies of Dave Tait and see for themselves what this Algoma is capable of in the way of growing fruit. To tee the apple trees loaded with their luscious burden, proving conclusively that choice fruit can be grown here. The farmers would do well to grow more. There is money in it.
