A MOMENT IN TIME
Old-fashioned post office: Along with operating an up-to-date, thriving business in his general store, Francis Deyett is also postmaster for Rosseau Road area, in this photo, he is shown behind the wicket serving Mrs. Marilyn MacDonald. Marilyn appreciates the fact that the post office is so near to home. "It's handy," she says. "We don't have to go into Parry Sound every time we want a stamp. It's very convenient. There is everything at Deyett's Store from the post office to groceries and pots and pans. My husband even buys nails here for building.
