UNVEILED NEW CENOTAPH: Following prayer and benediction, the Parry Sound Legion Colour Guard, with local support, marched from the Otter Lake United Church to the site of the new
cenotaph in front of the Foley Municipal buildings, Sunday at 1 p.m.
With a warm wind at their back 100 people watched Ed Gates and Leah Welk unveil the new cenotaph honouring those
from Foley who have given their life in defence of the country. Afterwards Father Brooks, lower photo, delivered the prayer of dedication before the monument received its first Last Post.
