    Bill Phillips Garage, where Gregory Bros are located in 1991. Corner of Huron and Main St

    The garage was originally built and owned by Ervin Tulloch in 1937. He was joined in business by his brother Harvey in 1944. They sold to Ellis Harper and Harvey Wilson in 1945 and in spring of 1948

    Bill Gardiner bought the garage from Mr. Harper on June 19, 1956 and he changed the name to Gardiners Garage. He added onto the building and sold Shell Oil products as well as Dodge cars and trucks.

    "Burke's Garage" is handwritten on the back of the photo. "Elastica" is seen on the stand-up posters. Other signs can be seen on the side of the car and over one of the tires.

    Signage on the building reads: "Sandie's Service Station, with a smaller sign on the front that says "We Charge Batteries."
