- This is the first of fourteen photo reproductions folder called "Fires" kept in the Thessalon Union Public Library. It is thought that these photos may be related to the report "The Mississagi Fire 1948 Historical Account" contained in the same folder.
This photo shows a massive forested landscape, with three small lakes visible. Off in the distant centre of the photo smoke can be seen rising from the forest.
