- This is a colour photograph (one of three) showing the Simon Dyment home in Barrie Ontario. This first photo shows a two and a half storey grey coloured home is snow covered and has multiangled roof lines.
In the middle of the photo, a covered verandah is visible curving around at least half of the lower floor that is visible. White columns on stone foundations support the open verandah.
A large tree rises up close to one side of the house, while a shrub is found by the rounded corner of the verandah. A small dormer window is visible on the uppermost storey of the house.
