- This is a reproduction a black and white aerial photograph that shows a close up view of the former lumber mill.
A complex of buildings including four smokestacks and a tall domed burner with smoke rising from it is located centre left, while another complex of lower buildings is located centre right.
A long pier or dock juts out into the water in the lower centre of the photo with a number of motor vehicles parked just before it. Logs are visible in the water, while piles of lumber can be seen in distant fields behind the right building complex.
- Notes
- This unmarked and undated photo was located in miscellaneous municipal files and permission was granted to scan this photo to add to our local collection. Based on other photos of this area taken from a distance and from other photos of the "mill", it would appear that this is the site of the Saginaw, Hope and Crane lumber mills.
