Description
This is a black and white photo of two men, Don Johnson (manager of the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre) and Bill Cole (Ministry of Natural Resources) counting the rings on a slice of Thessalon's giant white pine tree.

The photo appears to have been taken in the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre.
Notes
The tree fell down in a harsh wind storm in 1997. Scientists determined that the tree was 355 years old at that time and that the tree contained enough lumber to build a three-bedroom house.
Inscriptions
The caption under this photo reads "Don Johnson, general manager of the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre, (left), count rings with the Ministry of Natural Resources' Bill Cole, as they examine a slice of Thessalon's giant white pine."
