- This is a black and white photo of four women on horseback, all using western style tack. Two of the horses carry various packs and equipment and one has a fly net over his ears.

- The photo was taken on July 25, 1973 when two members of the Thessalon Riders Karen Bigelow (left) and Muriel McPhee(right) escorted Karla Edmunds and Lucy Leaf through the Thessalon area. Karla and Lucy were headed for Montana via horseback.
