- This is a black and white photo of the area around Park and Main Streets in Thessalon. The photo was taken from some height as the view extends out toward the lake where a large ship is docked at the Mill dock, loading.
The Presbyterian Church "Zion on the Rock" can be seen at the end of Park Street as well as several homes in the immediate area.
Behind one home that would face Main Street you can see two horses and a chicken coop, in what we would now refer to as "the backyard". A very extensive wood pile can be seen behind a neighboring fence line.
