- This is a black and white photo taken in summer months at the Thessalon train station. The photo shows a large group of people standing near the track, who appear to be there to either greet the train or see it off.
The train is carrying soldiers who are hanging from the windows where some are grabbing at the extended hands of some of the crowd.
