The big freight shed of Thessalon Station which at one time held all hardware and small farm equipment as well as other supplies for the town and area is being dismantled.
Men have been working on the project for the past two weeks and work is also in progress on the station itself. The building was bought from the CPR by Don Johnson of Sowerby two years ago. The material is being salvaged for future use.
