"Old, New Show Stability", (Thessalon, Ontario) Sudbury Star Clipping, 1952
- Full Text
- Old, New Show Stability
Stability and permanency are two of the outstanding features of both old and new construction in the bustling North Shore town of Thessalon. Above are two good examples. In one is the town hall which has been in use for almost half a century and will be one of the focal points for celebrations during the Diamond Jubilee anniversary in July of this year.
In the other is one of the more modern structures, the North End Motel which is a favored mecca for fishermen and hunters visiting that section of Algoma. Scores of "repeat" customers have been coming back to the motel during the past several years since it first opened. The North End Motel has some of the most skilled guides in the North Country on its roster to direct American sportsmen to the best hunting and fishing grounds.
