- Description
- This is a black and white photo of the Saginaw mill. A large number of buildings related to mill processes are grouped together in the centre of the photo including a silo-shaped structure on the left and three smokestacks on the right.
The large size of this structure is evident when compared to the tiny male figure in the lower right hand corner.
- Notes
- This photo is in a grey cardboard frame, with a red border.
While Sagimaw Mill was the first mill on this site, comparison with other photos of the Saginaw and Hope mills, suggest that this photo may in fact be that of the Hope Mill given the burner and three smoke stacks (large burner is not evident in other photos of the Saginaw mill). - Inscriptions
- "View of Saginaw Mill" written on back of photo frame.
