- This is a black and white photo of the Bennett home on Water Street in Thessalon. This home eventually became the original Red Cross hospital.
It was a very large L-shaped two story home with multiple entrances and two covered verandas. Note the cloth covering over the balcony above the front door and the widows walk on top of the building.
