- Description
- This is a black and white photo of a Pump House in the Thessalon area. It is a two story brick building. There is a one story extension at the rear of the building, a large chimney is also visible. There appears to be a stone fence next to the building.
- Notes
- The pumphouse was built near the lake on the property where the Bellisle Motel now stands. The pump house drew water from the lake to supply the town.
This same pump house may be the one that was used to change the running of the printing press at the Advocate from man powered to hydraulic powered. - Date of Original
