- This is a black and white photo of a little girl in the middle of winter. She is wearing a winter jacket with a fur trimmed hood and snow pants. She is wearing figure skates and holds a hockey stick.
In the background of the photo is the Thessalon 5 cent to $1.00 Store, more commonly known as the Thessalon Dime Store. To the right of the Dime Store is Fishman's Mens' Wear.

- The note affixed to this photo reads: "Second Thessalon Dime Store moved next door and Fishman's Mens' Wear took over the old store. You can see the window only of the Ralph McKay International Harvester Store. Picture possibly taken in the 1940's."
