- This is a black and white photo of the front counter of the People's Meat Market. On the counter there are three portions of meat. Behind the counter there are shelves and a cash register.
- Inscriptions
- The affixed note reads: "People's Meat Market opened in 1920 by Thomas Bird located on Main Street (where Main Street Pharmacy is in 1992). Mr. Bird retired in 1943 and the Bird Bros. took over, (Art, Earle and George)."
