- Queen Elizabeth (Queen Mother) speaking to George Giguere (centre airman) on one of her inspection tours of the R.C.A.F. in England. George was heard in Canada "a few weeks ago" when he spoke over the BBC transmitting system. (news clip dated 02 Feb 1943
December 4, 2010 - a comment received indicates that the woman in the photo is Queen Elizabeth (the current Queen Elizabeth's mother. She was reportedly honoring "Pokey Giguere" of Thessalon with a medal who was later killed overseas.
