Description
This is a black and white photo of Mr. and Mrs. Moore inside what could be the lobby of the Moorehouse Hotel. A front desk can be seen in the right of the photo.

The Moores are seated on either side of a large brick fireplace. To Mr. Moore's left is an unopened gramophone.

Mr. Moore is dressed in a three piece dark suit and is sitting in a wooden rocking chair. Mrs. Moore sits across from him in a high-backed leather and wood chair.

Notes
Notes indicate that Mr. Thomas Moore had the hotel built in 1907 by a Sault Ste. Marie contractors McPhail and Wright, using double and triple brick construction.

Mr. Moore was known in the area as a breeder and owner of race horses. Mr. Moore passed away in 1915 and the hotel was sold to John Harris of Walford.
