- This is a black and white family portrait of the Hotchkiss family. Mr. and Mrs. Hotchkiss and three of their daughters are seated in the front row. Two other women and Charles Hotchkiss are standing behind them. The photo may have been taken on Charles' wedding day, April 6, 1904.
- Notes
- Thomas Hotchkiss and his wife Sarah (Featherstone) are pictured. Their daughter Laura, married Frank Bennett, and owned the Hardware Store in Thessalon. Sarah, married Edward White, and operated the Grocery Store in Thessalon where Clinton's Store was.
Mary married Clark Reynolds, and ran the General Store in Portlock. Their sons name was George. In 1880 Thomas Hotchkiss built the Little Rapids First School.
Thomas Hotchkiss died on July 25, 1904. - Date of Original
