- This is a black and white photo of men working in the summer in a rural area. In the centre of the photo are two horses. In front of the horses (photo left) are two men, both holding long handled implements, that may be cant poles.
In the background two other horses are pictured, and appear to be pulling a similar log and rock contraption. Another man in the distant lower left of the photo appears to be watching the first two horses.
