This is a black and white photo of a standard-bred horse in a sulky racing harness. The horse has protective covers on his hooves and between his knees.

The driver wears pants, a jacket, and a straw hat. Behind the horse and driver can be seen a stone fence, part of a residence, and a few large trees.
