- This is a black and white photo of the "Thessalon Home Guard" September 6, 1915. There are thirty men dressed in civilian clothing and two men in military uniforms, kneeling in front of the group.
The men are posing in front of the Cecil House (later known as The Sinton Hotel). The men in civilian clothing are dressed mostly in suits and ties, with various styles of hats -bowlers, straw boaters, fedora's and newsboy caps. There is a young boy standing right and behind the group who wears short pants and is barefoot.
