- Description
- This is a black and white photo showing the Hope Lumber Company mill dock, circa 1912. The mill dock appears to be a wooden structure topped with packed earth. There are several large boats tied up at the dock, including a tug boat toward the bottom left of the photo.
There is some milled lumber sitting on the left side of the dock and a large quantity of logs floating in the water. The Government dock is visible in the background toward the middle right as is the large brick Woolen Mill in the distant right.
- Notes
- Hope Lumber Company's plant here also furnished much lumber and other materials for the First Brook Bros. box factory.
