- This is a black and white photo of the Grey & Simcoe Foresters Regiment on parade in Thessalon August 2, 1941. The regiment is shown in full uniform turning off of Huron Street onto Main Street directly in front of the Heffernan House (later known as the Sinton).
Bridges Store can be seen on the opposite corner and directly behind is Chisholm's Boarding house. The soldiers are carrying firearms and rucksacks. - Date of Original
