Description
This is a black and white photo of Jones General Store. This one story sided building appears to have attached living quarters to the right. The photo shows gas pumps in front to the left and a Volkswagen Beetle parked on the right.
Notes
The store shown was originally owned by Sam Ellis in 1907. It was then sold to the Mills brothers Doc and Matt. When fire destroyed the store and several nearby homes, the Mills brothers rebuilt their store. In later years the store was sold to Sid and Lil Jones.

This photo can be found in the Tweedsmuir History created by the Nesterville Women's Institute.
