- This photo shows Mr. and Mrs. G. Walker standing together behind a three-tiered white cake.A third person identified as Mrs. Joe Walker is seated to the couples' left. Mrs. Joe Walker is a light coloured dress with white collar and a dark hat.
The table the cake also features two sets of silver, three-candle candelabra. There are various plates, cups, and saucers on the table as well.
- Notes
- The notes found with this photo show a penned date indicating the anniversary as 1956. Notes also state that "over 70 descendants and relatives gathered to honor the Walkers on their golden Wedding anniversary."
It is noted that the celebration took place at Livingstone Creek United Church where the couple were presented with a gold and rose toned satin comforter.
This photo can be found in the Tweedsmuir History created by the Princess Elizabeth Women's Institute.
