- This is a colour photo showing an enlarged greenhouse that includes two sections and updated glass roofing. The photo shows the gardens including flower beds, and corn growing next to the greenhouses.
- Notes
- In 1960 "Carpenter" Clifford built a new greenhouse measuring 9' x 30'. At this point the Whitfield's had customers coming from as far away as Blind River and soon the buildings were in need of enlargement.
This photo can be found in the Tweedsmuir History created by the Princess Elizabeth Women's Institute.
