Teachers tie knot in Iron Bridge

— EAKET

Miss Sharon Jane Eaket was married Saturday afternoon in Iron Bridge United Church to Kenneth A. Lane, Rev. John Brown heard the

vows.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Harvey A. Eaket and the late Mrs. Jean Eaket of Iron Bridge. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lane of Gore Bay, Ont.

Miss. Eaket is a graduate of Waterloo Lutheran University and teaches at Thessalon High School, The groom is a graduate, of North Bay Teachers College and teaches at Iron Bridge Public School.

The bride wore a gown of peau de soie overlaid with lace with a detachable train. Her finger-tip veil was held by a ring of matching lace. She carried pink roses, stephanotis, chrysanthemums, and carnations.

Miss May Ann Kainola of Toronto, a university classmate, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Marilyn Eaket, sister of the bride, Miss Gail Grasley of Bruce Mintesi a cousin, and Miss Karen Beemer of Iron Bridge. Train, bearer was Christine Auger of Desbarats.

They wore blue and aqua peau de soie and carried pink carnations and white mums.

Best man was William Runnalls of Regina, Sask. Ushers were Bruce Walker of Elliot Lake, Jack Morrison, of Scarborough and Larry Lane of Guelph.

A buffet supper was held at the Lion's Hall, Iron Bridge.

After a trip to Quebec City, the couple will live at Iron Bridge.
