Description
This small wooden case contains two inverted bottles containing Uranium Concentrate U308 84%, and Yttrium Concentrate Y203 40%. These samples are labelled as "Final Products from Denison Mines Ltd.
Notes
The milling process commonly yields dry powder-form material consisting of natural uranium, "yellowcake," which is sold on the uranium market as U3O8. The most important use of yttrium is in making phosphors, such as the red ones used in television cathode ray tube displays and in LEDs.
