- Description
- This is a white china vegetable bowl with a lid. It is round in shape and has small handles on either side and a matching handle on the lid. It is decorated with small pink flowers with green leaves with gold trim.
The handles on the lid and the sides of the dish may have once been entirely gilded in gold but use has worn it away until there is only traces of it left close to where they attach to the dish.
- Notes
- The markings on the back read "GDA - France" CB Field Havilland - Limoges (Toronto Winnipeg). The GDA mark on the back establishes the age of the piece as being after 1898 when the GDA was added to stand for Gerard Dufaisseix and Abbott.
