Description
This is a hardcover scrapbook devoted to the history of the Iron Bridge United Church. The scrapbook includes photos, newspaper clippings and correspondence all related to the church and its members.
Notes
This is Binder 1 of a 4 binder set dedicated to the history of the United Church of Iron Bridge.

This first binder includes photos and written history of the church from its early beginnings in 1892 when Rev. Fry was the minister.

The first church built in Iron Bridge was burned down before it was ever used when the wood stove was lit to help dry the plaster overnight and when the stove overheated, the church burned down.

This volume includes original photos of the some of the first ministers to serve in Iron Bridge including Rev. and Mrs. Haynes a Presbyterian student minister who served in the early 1900's, Rev. Clubbine, Rev and Mrs. Payne and Rev. Burnsides. It includes photos, letters and news clippings through to 1942
