- Description
- This is a black and white photo of Slate Falls along the Mississagi River near Iron Bridge. The photo shows extremely steep banks of rock fall and a pile of raw cut logs in the middle of the stream of water.
Due to the creation of a dam these falls no longer exist. It appears the falls were quite large and were used regularly by the lumber trade in the early years of logging in the area.
