- The photo is a black and white shot of Mrs. Mary E. Allhusen taken while she was out near what could be a chicken coop.
Several species of fowl can be seen around her feet including turkeys.
- Notes
- The Allhusen farm located on highway 17 west was originally owned by Mr. William Tower before 1923.
After Mr. Allhusen's death the property changed hands and became the site of tourist cabins that Mr. Albert Tulloch purchased from The Stone Lumber Company at Day Mills.
Later the land became the site of the Parker Motel which was frequented regularly by United States visitors.
