- This is the third photo in a series of four photos showing the construction of a large post and beam barn being built.
Two men are high on the beams, one seated on the rafters and one standing next to a major support beam. At this point the basic shell of the barn is ready for siding and roofing.
- Notes
- This barn was framed by Bob Nicholson in 1933. At the time of the photos the barn raising took place on the Nelson Allen farm in 1933,which was subsequently sold to Nelson's son Harvey and then to Eric Reid.
