SPENCE, Marie Louise (Metatawabin) —

Born October 18, 1955 passed away on November 10, 2005. She was predeceased by her sister Rita Metatawabin and her niece Riel Star Metatawabin. She leaves behind four daughters, Lesley, residing in Sudbury, Jennifer (Todd), residing in Petawawa, Deanna (Thomas), residing in Fort Albany, and Ashley (Eric), residing in Fort Albany. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren. Grieving parents are Abraham and Theresa (Sutherland) Metatawabin of Fort Albany. Her brothers Ed (Joan), Alex, Chris, Leo (Maureen), Mike (Eva), Marcel (Anna), and Danny (Sylvia) and her sisters Mary Jane and Denise as well as numberous nieces and nephews also grieve her passing. She also leaves behind her husband Pascal Spence of Fort Albany. Wake service was held on Monday, November 14, 2005 at the Peetabeck Academy School gym in Fort Albany. The funeral will be held on today, November 15, 2005 at 2 p.m.. Throughout her life Mary Louise kept her faith in Jesus with the poem 'Footprints' often giving her comfort. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
