VAILLANCOURT, Romeo — Passed away after a brief illness at Sudbury Laurentian Hospital, Tuesday, August 2, 2005. Romeo Vaillancourt beloved husband of Rita Miron in his 75th year. Dearly loved father of Andy Vaillancourt (Ingrid van Vliet) of North Bay, Ron Vaillancourt (Brenda
Kapitanchuk) of North Bay, Marc Vaillancourt (Michelle Clifford) of London, Louise Vaillancourt of Miramichi, Pierre Vaillancourt (Lisa Udeschini) of North Bay and Michelle Presseault (Mario) of Hull/Ottawa. Lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren Jeff, Sean, Valerie, Justin, Anika, Jennifer, Dwayne, Cormack, Julie, Annabelle, Patrick and Emilie. Dear brother of Larry Vaillancourt, Shirley Rapsky, Marcella Watson, Dennis Vaillancourt and Theresa Vaillancourt. Predeceased by his parents Colette and Romeo Vaillancourt. Romeo was a loving husband, a very devoted father of his family. He worked as a millwright at Johns-Mansville until 1979, switching careers to become owner and operator of the Trout Lake Esso service station until 1996. His hobbies included, hunting, fishing and making his own maple syrup. Visitation at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9' p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
